Today is the second day without a public side of the Academy of Natural Sciences.

Do the right thing, Drexel. Reopen the doors.

See you on the 7th!

Keep contacting decision makers (Drexel Board, Mayor, Governor) to encourage the Academy of Natural Sciences to take the donation from the William Penn Foundation to buy time to find a long term solution. The museum can be saved! 😊❤️🦖

Today is the first day the Academy of Natural Sciences in Philly no longer has a public facing portion of its museum.

Here’s one story about the museum’s impact:

Blaine, Concerned Academic on what the Academy means to them save-the-academy.org/stories.html...

Can Drexel University survive the chaos they have caused? My daughter is a Drexel grad; my three sons graduated from St Joes, Lehigh and Stockton. Three universities who are not killing the golden goose. #SaveTheAcademy.

Today, the public facing part of the Academy of Natural Sciences closed.

We can open the doors again to OUR museum.

Drexel University claims that the William Penn Foundation never gave a dollar figure or a formal offer to fund the Academy of Natural Sciences.

Hm. Maybe go have a talk, boys.

We came, we rallied, and Drexel University saw that we are not accepting closure of The Academy of Natural Sciences.

#SaveTheAcademy is not done yet, by the way.
Thank you to everyone who participated so far!

Oct 7th the investigation into the closure will begin.
There's still plenty room for other solutions, and to find out why Drexel opted not to explore any other means of saving the museum.
