Recapping Gotham & looking ahead to Bay.

#RacingLou "has to be a better second half team" says Yanez. Racing entering (inauspicious) rarified air in NWSL history, Sears on the bench, and McKeen's journey with the U20 WNT continues in Poland.

#RacingLou put together a strong first half, conceded quickly out of the second half (2nd time in 3 games that's happened), and were unable to break down Gotham's possession and defense in the second half. Strong performance but also their 4th loss in a row.

Not starting Emma Sears was a choice. #RacingLou

#RacingLou has some rotation in the starting XI. Not entirely surprised to see Sears getting a break after losing possession of 11 of her 18 touches last week. Bigger surprise is Gacioch being replaced by Peterson who hasn't had an appearance in six weeks.

#RacingLou forward/midfielder Audrey McKeen gets the start for the US U-20 national team in the FIFA u20 World Cup

Matchday recap, Racing drops third straight as lack of quality in final third leads to first shutout in nearly two months. Despite scoreline, this 2-0 loss didn't hurt quite as bad as some others.

Tough loss for #RacingLou. Fell behind in the second half on a rocket of a goal and then gave up a second in stoppage time while actively trying to get the goal back. Can't fault the team for giving up another goal while trying to get points back. Tough loss and doesn't get easier with Gotham next

For the first time in over a year I'm back at Lynn Family Stadium. Let's go #RacingLou!
