🐝In suburban Europe, goldenrod-dominated patches attracted more honey bees and hoverflies, but wild #bees and butterflies showed up less. These findings indicate taxon-specific redistribution of pollinator activity rather than simple #pollinator diversity decline.

This honeybee is inbound to a sunflower near our area in June. This is one of my luckiest shots, it’s a 300mm telephoto that happened to catch a tiny bee inbound. UV makes it difficult to focus and see.
