Personally I found it quite funny & despite them breaking the rules, I can’t help thinking sticking it up to the protected clubs has been long overdue. There does seems to be a big section of fans of many clubs who seem to be in their corner #NUFC

Even if financial rules did allow for investment to close a gap, I wouldn’t put it past them to still take the p*ss.
