@mitchellclinton.winnipegjets.com#NHLJets defenceman Elias Salomonsson is on the ice for morning skate in a regular jersey after warring non-contact the last few weeks.
@mitchellclinton.winnipegjets.comClay Stevenson taking the warm-up shots from Dylan Samberg in the home net.

@mikemcintyrewpg.bsky.socialThere are now just 3 NHL teams left without a regulation loss so far this season.
#NHLJets (3-0-1)

Florida Panthers (2-0-2)l
@mikemcintyrewpg.bsky.socialThanks. This will be a regular series throughout the #NHLJets season. So plenty more on the way.
@mikemcintyrewpg.bsky.socialViggo Bjorck believes it’s just a matter of time.
Dylan Samberg says Josh Morrissey’s status has everyone on stand-by.
And Mark Scheifele and Kyle Connor have teammates searching for superlatives.
My jumbo-sized #NHLJets notebook covers a lot of ground.
@mikemcintyrewpg.bsky.socialStarting a new series on the #NHLJets beat this season where I sit down with a player for a fun, wide-ranging Q+A on a number of topics.
Hockey, life, you name it.
First up: Mario Ferraro.
Online now and in Friday’s print edition of @winnipegfreepress.com www.winnipegfreepress.com/breakingnews...

@notfrankseravalli.bsky.social@mikemcintyrewpg.bsky.socialIt was a lightly-attended optional skate today here for the #NHLJets, who will play their 5th game in 8 days tomorrow against Anaheim.
No Josh Morrissey, who was injured last night. AC Davis Payne didn’t have an update post-practice. We’ll see what Friday brings.
@mitchellclinton.winnipegjets.comOptional for the #NHLJets today. No Josh Morrissey after leaving yesterday’s game.

@pippa.famichiki.jp.ap.brid.gy@mikemcintyrewpg.bsky.socialAnd here’s @wiebesworld.bsky.social with the game analysis of an impressive #NHLJets victory over Colorado that began in the net and ended with a dramatic, last-minute dagger.
@mikemcintyrewpg.bsky.socialMark Scheifele insisted he wasn’t worried.
But when a prolific point producer coming off a career-best season puts up zeroes in his first three games, people are going to start asking questions.
The #NHLJets star had the answers Wednesday.
@gametimeart.bsky.socialHelle didn't think he could win anymore with the #NHLJets.
Quitter mentality really.
@mikemcintyrewpg.bsky.social#NHLJets Stuart Skinner was asked post-game about trying to "fill big shoes" of Connor Hellebuyck.
"I would say that they are big shoes to fill, 100%, but I'm not looking into the scenario of filling his shoes. My job's the same job as any other goalie in this league."
@mikemcintyrewpg.bsky.social#NHLJets Scott Arniel on the Mark Scheifele/Kyle Connor magic leading to the dramatic game-winner:
“That was pretty special. Not a lot of guys can make those kinds of plays
Connor on the Scheifele pass:
"A top tier play. He almost has a sixth sense of knowing where I’m at."
