have some more #Uru era video from the @cyan.com archives! Today's footage shows....whatever the fucking hell this shit is i don't fucking know anymore. There's more of this, too...this is just a cut. The phone stuff is way longer on another tape... #Myst #whatthefuckisthisshitcyanlol

There's also this 2h long tape of this scene of Stoneship in #realMyst (2000). It's a day-night and weather cycle test. The entire tape is recorded at 2FPS. Enjoy at least 4 minutes of this fucking dumb shit! also it has nice VHS ASMR! <3 #Myst

And for good measure, an alternate early rough-cut WITHOUT the Cyan logo. #realMyst #Myst

Most #Myst fans know this realMyst trailer from 2000. But did you know there's also an early cut of it? Find it in the second post! Also this here is probably the highest quality of that trailer, since it's taken directly from a miniDV tape.

I enjoy watching the storm on Amateria.

Some gen Z'er: "Point-and-click adventure games? God! That's SOOOO, like, 1990s! These are ANCIENT!"

...Yes, but have you actually *played* them? 😏
