I find it interesting that the Korean title is 마이데몬 which is pronounced “my daymon” and matches the word I hear Gu-won use. In my US English I would say “my deemon” which I think would be spelled 마이디몬. I wonder what language 데몬 entered Korean from? My guess is French démon. (Word nerd 😅) #MyDemon

I am really really really sick of the #kdrama trope that makes the bad guy identifiable by a physical problem. #LovelyRunner and #WhenThePhoneRings bad guys both have facial tics. #MyDemon bad guy has eczema on his neck. Fuck this ableism.

I think it’s hilarious that every time a character in #MyDemon says some variation of “WTF!?”, the Spanish subtitles translate it as “¿Qué diablos?” In English: “What the devil?” 😈

I’m not even mad that episode 5 of #MyDemon repeated the exact same dance scene that ended ep4. When you’ve got something that good, show it more than once.

Omg the dance scene in #MyDemon was iconic. I saw it 100 times in spoilers on social media as the kdrama was airing but it really was that good. Now I’m glad I’m watching. At least through ep 4 I’d say this kdrama is worth it.

Episode 3 of #MyDemon was predictable enough that even though I watched it while half asleep, I managed to follow the plot. Every time I opened my eyes someone pretty was on screen. I’m feeling extra tired these days so apparently this IS the kdrama I need right now.

These two are so unearthly pretty it is like watching anime characters come to life: pointy chins, unrealistically large eyes, lips drawn by a horny manhwaka. I would say surgery but I’ve seen enough of #KimYouJung as a child actress to know she’s always been gorgeous. How about #SongKang? #MyDemon

Okay ep 2 was fine and I’ll watch ep 3 tomorrow. #MyDemon is giving #LovelyRunner vibes: very pretty leads, unexplained fantasy elements, and a Very Bad bad guy.

Next up on my series of overpowered supernatural boyfriends: #MyDemon. I dropped this after one episode in 2023. Let’s see if I’m in the mood for it now.
