Bringing to mind the association I have with Charley Pride and Lynn Anderson to my grandma. Well, it’s about equal to the association I have with my mom and her love for the Pozo-Seco Singers and The Poppy Family. She had their albums when I was really little. I can still picture in my mind the album covers leaning up against her record player all those many years ago.

Of course, Don Williams went on to become known as country music's 'Gentle Giant' and had a marvelous career, chalking up hit after hit throughout several years, from the early 1970s to the early 1990s.An image of the front album cover, “I Can Make it With You” by the Pozo-Seco Singers released on Columbia Records in 1967.An image of the back album cover, “I Can Make it With You” by the Pozo-Seco Singers released on Columbia Records in 1967.

It’s been my hobby to collect 45 RPM singles throughout the years. I played this energetic song many, many times back then at AM 650 KYAK, the station I worked as a broadcaster for from 1987-1991.

They'd receive several 45 RPM vinyl duplicates, and we'd dub the songs onto cartridges. So, several records would get thrown away. This is one of many I rescued from being thrown away.An image of the front CD/album cover, “I Wanna Dance with You”, by Eddie Rabbitt, released on RCA Records in 1988.
