I’ve known Mu Art for most of my life. In fact, we went to the same elementary school together! And while we haven’t been as in touch these past few years as I would’ve liked, it’s been amazing to reconnect with him, and I’ll never forget learning that the guy who I played Pokémon and Diddy Kong Racing DS with while growing up was also an incredibly talented and successful artist. In truth, he’s been a major source of inspiration for me, and it’s been so cool to watch his original character Bacardi take on a life of her own. I want to see Mu continue to grow. I want to see him and all of my other creative friends thrive and make names for themselves. And a part of that involves me sharing their work and hyping them up to whoever I come across.

I can’t speak for Mu or his friend and Makeship collaborator PajamaMcHam, but as a writer and a creative mind, very few things would make me happier than seeing my character, someone who I quite literally conjured into being, woven into a physical form and enjoyed by hundreds of people. Bacardi isn’t my character, but she still means a lot to me, and I want to do everything that I can to see her star grow brighter.

As of the time of me typing this, there are about 11 hours and 30 minutes left on the Magical Cat Bacardi campaign, with only 61 orders to go before Mu and PajamaMcHam reach their goal. If they make 6 sales per hour for the next 11 hours, the campaign will be a success. That’s not just doable. That’s laughably easy! I believe that we can do this!

If you like Mu and PajamaMcHam’s art, if you like Bacardi’s design, or if you just feel like supporting independent creatives, please consider ordering a Magical Cat Bacardi plush. And if you can’t afford it or don’t want one, that’s perfectly fine. Instead, please repost and share this campaign with anyone who might be interested in it.

11 hours. 30 minutes. 61 orders.

We’re so close to the goal. We can’t give up now. Let’s give this campaign one final push!

I truly believe that we can pull this off. They just need 61 more orders in just under 12 hours! If 6 people pledge per hour, they'll succeed! WE CAN DO THIS!
