Day 1: Sealed

"Living Tombstone" is the informal name for remote-controlled, infantry mechs with hostages strapped on them. Their deployment on the battlefield is considered a war crime, though this hasn't stopped ruthless factions from making use of such tactics.

2. Rain

With the idea of rain I immediately thought of The Matrix. The machines have an almost mech quality to them with (albeit unwilling) human occupants in large robots.

1. Sealed

More like unsealed. Pilot asleep. A portal wizard mech consults a techno-mystic manual when its gate malfunctions. Meanwhile something with tentacles threatens to emerge. Will the mech be able to close the portal in time and save itself, or is its fate sealed?
