I'm working on a new resource for our members which involved being inducted into the wonderful world of letterpressing at The Vintage Printworks yesterday. PHWOAH. Super excited on many levels - especially as there may be more letterpressing in my future 😻

2007 reprint Eric Gill's 2nd edition (1936) of the classic 1931 "An Essay on Typography" An excellent read for historians of printing and typography as well as those interested in the philosophical difference between commercial and artisanal printing.

Found this Linotype slug hiding out in the hellbox today! 🇨🇦 “Made in Canada”—honestly couldn’t be more proud of this find. It is definitely getting saved from the melting pot and put straight into a chase. Can’t wait to ink this up and see how it hits the paper. #Letterpress #MadeInCanada
