Kirbtober Day 2: Galactic

Galactic Nova resummoned herself because she thought someone else was going to great lengths just to have their wish granted. However when she sees that familiar jester, she straight up snaps at him due to his one wish to destroy Planet Pop Star. So she won't grant any wishes for both Marx and that pink puff ball who dealt a fatal blow to her. She's no fan of Kirby either.

When asked by Galactic Nova how she can be in space with a mere broom, she clarifies her broom's ability and how that is different from the usual stereotypical witch broom that yall often see in media, her broom is quite special. And that's before getting a new broom from her boyfriend. She oddly gets nervous around Galactic Nova though, probably because she doesn't want her to find out that she's related to Marx in some shape or form.

Marx dragged his cousin Gryll to this situation as he did want to make a wish of some kind but he didn't explain what wish he wanted to make to Gryll, so she was left in the dark about this as she followed Marx so he wouldn't pull any destructive pranks that can be fatal. However, his wish is immediately denied by Galactic Nova who is still angry about Marx's actions, and the whole absorbing her energy when she was dead to bring himself back to life.

Also ya may have noticed that Marx's first side of his hat and Gryll's witch shoes are using a brighter red color than the usual Chrome Canvas red that I've been using for 6 years now, that's because that type of red isn't cutting it anymore and in certain drawings, can even make the red less bright, so I decided to use a new red but keeping the old red for mouths.

And that's all for now! Next time, I'll be showcasing my favorite games for day 3, although how will I handle that will be different. But until then, I hope y'all have a good one! and I'll see y'all next time.

kirbtober days 1 + 2:
ally and galactic 💫

(prompts by paintpanic!)
#Kirby #Kirbtober

Art of the star allies sparkler. Kirby is below, moving forward with a determined look. Poppy bros jr is on the left, holding up a bomb enthusiastically. Sir kibble is on the right, looking up at the bomb. The background is of a purple starry sky.

Drawing of noir dedede and galacta knight. Noir dedede is on the left, looking somewhat curiously at galacta knight. Galacta knight is slightly perched on it, turned to the right. In the bottom right is text, which says "(the galactic nova haters)"

"No-one knows where the fallen hero has gone following his banishment from our world. Strange temporal forces say he's transcending dimensions. He may find himself in a new world, either rejuvenated or still as bloodthirsty as ever. One this is known, however: never awaken him or we are all doomed."

KIRBTOBER 2026 (1/31?) : Ally

Joining this year Kirbtober done by "paintpanic" from Tumblr.

Idk if I can do this cause I have no confidence (in other words I'm not hoping if I can). If I did manage to draw all 31 welp, thats a huge leap for me

KIRBTOBER 2026 IS HERE! I was so excited for this month that I actually started sketching and working on my Kirbtober posts over the course of last month. In fact, I began the first few prompts over the first few days of September!

I based today's prompt off of an illustration for an official novel adaptation of Kirby Fighters 2 (with my personal designs ofc) (and the updated design for Sword Kirby from KATWB)

(And yes, I made Kirby's star birthmark change color and shape based on which Copy Ability he has :) )
