This is how time travel works in #TheDragonblood, where we have a pair of alternate history worlds, even though time travelling in one leaves you in that timeline and doesn't change history.

Whether it works this way in #InReverse too isn't something that gets answered.

Now, general relativity conceives of spacetime as a static block universe, and the closed timelike curves that might appear in it link to the past of the same static timeline. This is how time travel works in most of my time travel stories, including #TheDragonblood and #InReverse.

I burst out #laughing. Instead copying the message down, I write down on the paper in big letters the single word "Yes!".

#InReverse: You get 'floral'.

An auburn-haired woman stumbles into the room, looking behind her. She could just as well be my mirror image. My identical twin sister.

I've only seen Gem on rare occasions. The last was a year or two ago; I try to picture the scene to keep my mind off the pain.

Then they'll judge whether the person wants their help or wants them out of their sight.

#InReverse: Meg saw the fruit strewn across the ground and was going in to help pick it up, when the person bumped into her and all the fruit flew up into their hands.

Aimetor might also turn to the gods, in prayer. Or they might contact one of their partners, depending on the situation.

#InReverse: Meg and Harriet m rely on each other.

#ThroughTheCracks: Hm, good question; who would Skylar turn to? Maybe just send a general distress signal?

#TheDragonblood: Sabrina is the main time travel expert of the story, although I suppose Fenzetor, god of time, may be even more of an expert.

#InReverse: Harriet may be the closest thing there is to a time travel expert at the start, having lived with Meg for a while now.

#TheDragonblood: About a week passes during the story, although it might be lived through a couple times over by the end.

#InReverse: The story takes place over decades, from 2024 to the 1990's.

#InReverse: Meg would've fallen to a gunshot wound, if not for the Time Reverser. She should be grateful. But now she must spend possibly the rest of her days living in reverse, from the future to the past.

The next morning, I find Harriet in her workshop, where she's been spending most of her time. The Time Reverser sits on the table, partially disassembled, and the lettering on it is completely broken up and scrambled.

Aimetor is reading nonfiction about biology or medicine.

Sabrina is reading ALL the books. Fiction, nonfiction. Not all in one day, though; she has all the time in the world.

#InReverse: Meg loves reading! And to her, there's nothing better than a physical book.

#InReverse: The characters here aren't particularly famous. They try not to be. Some things they do might reach the papers, but they try to stay anonymous.

#ThroughTheCracks: Skylar isn't too famous either, and doesn't want to be. The antagonists, Kye and Erron, are famous, though.

#InReverse: I show Meg do a lot of ordinary tasks, because they're all new to her now that she's in reverse. Eating, showering, doing laundry.

#ThroughTheCracks: Skylar likes a lot of domestic tasks like this, so I depict them doing a bunch of them. Cooking, weaving, tending to house plants.

She'd be fine as long as she scoped it all out first and knew every interaction she'd have in my world. Whether she'd be willing, it's hard to say.

#InReverse: Meg is definitely an INTERESTING choice. It's hard to say if I could handle being in reverse for a week.

#InReverse: We'll get to see Meg over a large part of her life, but she'll be ageing the other way, and the other characters will also be ageing in reverse from her perspective. We might also get flashbacks to when she was younger.
