I rated The Hit (1984) 8/10 #IMDb

Simple tale of human nature and how things never go to plan.
Terrence Stamp is phenomenal as the “grass” who calmly accepts fate…John Hurt is the senior Hitman and Tim Roth is the newbie. Great Spanish cinematography.

I rated Shaun the Sheep: The Beast of Mossy Bottom (2026) 8/10 #IMDb In this Halloween 3rd offering, Shaun creates a pumpkin growing formula that causes havoc. It’s great fun throughout with lots of horror film references for the adults. 80 minutes, perfect length.

Is #IMDB down for anyone else?
The app seems to work at first but then doesn't give full results for actors.

I rated The 39 Steps (1935) 9/10 #IMDb

Early Hitchcock adaptation of the John Buchan novel. Mysterious spies, murder, chased by the police, the Scottish Highlands, trains, romance and humour.
Robert Donat is superb as wrongfully accused Richard Hannay

I rated Resident Evil (2026) 7/10 #IMDb Austin Abrams has to transport an emergency package to Raccoon City, where things are going South. Miles better than any of the Jovovich movies, this is an entertaining blend of body horror and comedy. Zach “Weapons” Cregger directs.

I rated Pressure (2026) 8/10 #IMDb Brendan Fraser’s Eisenhower must choose the day for D-Day, so requires meteorologist Andrew Scott to tell him when the skies will clear. Well-made and well-acted WW2 drama. Damian Lewis brings in some strong support as Monty.

I rated A Bona Fide Killer (2026–2026) 8/10 #IMDb

Top notch K-Drama with a mix of all the stuff that makes the wider genre so appealing. The only thing missing was time travel!

I rated Good Luck, Have Fun, Don't Die (2025) 5/10 #IMDb Sam Rockwell is from the future and convinces a group of diners to help him defeat AI. It’s kind of like a humorous portmanteau of Black Mirror episodes. There are some fun elements but it’s far too long and never has any real punch.

I rated Joy Ride (2001) 5/10 #IMDb Prime.
