picture taken while the foothills between #SimiValley and the #SanFernandoValley were on fire during #FireSeason. i don't remember where we were going or why we were so far northwest, but i snapped a bunch of pictures. i was in an instagram #Photography phase, hence why it's square.

an orange-toned image of sparse trees on the slope of a hill. the sky behind them is deep brown-orange lightening as it goes to the top of the frame. one of the trees on the hill is knocked over, & there is vegetation in the foreground of the image. the hillside is covered in dry, dead grass that looks orange-brown in the light.
