I watched #Digger today. The satire is about far more than climate change. The trailers couldn't do this movie justice.

#Digger will make bank during awards season. Tom Cruise and John Goodman will be nominated for Oscars for sure.

Go see this movie.

#Digger is a mess. When the twist happens, you feel the oxygen leave the theater. A couple nice moments early but the movie lobotomizes you with its lesson.

Digger is absolutely the American film of the year! Don’t let @warnerbrospictures.bsky.social bury this to appease new owner Larry ‘Digger’ Ellison. #Digger #filmsky

It’s good to see some brave filmmaking. #Digger #Cinemastodon #letterboxd https://boxd.it/gIPa6T

Enjoyed #Digger even more the 2nd viewing. Knowing the reveal ahead of time added to the experience.

I think this movie will get another push. Cruise and Goodman (maybe Ahmed too) are likely to get nominations. Best Picture also in play. It’s an important work of art.

Alejandro G. Iñárritu’s daring, outrageous and terrifying state-of-the-nation satire is likely to divide audiences, but it’s a hard film to forget – or to ignore. Read the review: www.filmreviewdaily.com/new-reviews/... #Digger #AlejandroInarritu #FilmReview

#digger . Great movie.

YOU. KNEW!!!!!!!!!! THAT. is why it is YOUR!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PROBLEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! #digger

Could the reason be that #Digger ‘s even split of positive and negative reviews are because the line between satire and reality are so blurred that it’s difficult to distinguish these days?

En même temps, il fallait s'y attendre un peu non ? #Digger

I wrote about Iñárritu’s revolutionary new film “Digger,” and how it offers movie goers a great leap in cinematic perception + a consideration on the limitations of film criticism in my new Substack piece, “On the Revolutionary Nature of ‘Digger’” #Digger

#DIGGER SPOILER‼️

Hannah wants to tell a story the audience needs. Curtis wants to tell a story that does justice to the past.

They represent two very different ways of dealing with the same catastrophe — and two very different ways of telling its story.
