Coupling the content model to the (current) visual #design is one of the easiest #webdev mistakes to make.

The content model should be built to fit the content. If anything needs to bend, to fit the design, it is never the data.

#css solved that problem ~20 years ago.

Testing a Safari bug fix showed me Firefox & Chromia now behave as Safari did/does (not a bad thing).

This would basically compile into this html-markup. Correct?
So in the end both elements end up as siblings inside the hole on a dry donut without jelly. Of course the dumb answer to the stated question would be `:first-child{}`.
But seriously, at this point that isn't a #CSS but an #DOM problem.
