@radicalruss.comThey keep calling on Lauren Green the sideline reporter and I keep hearing the Bonanza Theme.
Another 3 and out for Memphis, as it seems Broncos have figured out how to cover the middle. Then the punt is returned for a TD!
#BoiseState 31 – Memphis 20
@radicalruss.comD holds Tigers to 3 and out. Then we muff the punt but recover. Now Riley Gaines are gashing up the Memphis D, Gaines gets the go-ahead TD!
#BoiseState 24 ‐ Memphis 20
@radicalruss.comA reminder to defenses: if you tackle the guy at the 10 rather than trying to punch the ball out, your team has a chance to hold them to 3. Twice #BoiseState let guys tumble into the end zone this way.
@radicalruss.comBroncos give up another big play, allow Tigers to get down to the red zone for a 0:01 FG.
#BoiseState 17 – Memphis 20
Riley Gaines have 19 carries for 183 yards.
@radicalruss.comYes! Pressure gets to Memphis QB, Broncos finally have a defender in the middle, INT! THEN Riley dials up a 70yd run! THEN reverse TD!
#BoiseState 17 ‐ Memphis 17
BTW, Broncos RB combo are...
Riley Gaines!
@radicalruss.comOh, no, coach! 4th & 6 after giving up 3 yds on a messed up run, no, no, no, not at midfield, punt the ball, punt the... catch! TD! Good call, coach!
#BoiseState 10 – Memphis 17
@radicalruss.comSo, of course, after giving up 3 passes over 40 yards, Broncos give up 80 yard rush on the first play. This defense of not playing anyone in the middle is killing us.
#BoiseState 3 – Memphis 17 unanswered.
@radicalruss.comBroncos have given up an 87yd and a 67yd pass, lucked out the TD pass was dropped. Gotta put together a TD drive before this gets out of hand.
#BoiseState 3 – Memphis 10
@radicalruss.comBroncos drive all the way to the 1. Then lose a yd on run. Then fail on wide open play action. Then try another play action on 4th and everyone's covered because they knew we wouldn't run for 2 yds after being stuffed on the 1. Win for Tigers D.
Still #BoiseState 3 – Memphis 7.
@radicalruss.comBroncos punt. Foul gets Memphis back to the 14. So they miss one wide open long pass, then make the second wide open pass for an 84-yard TD. Sheesh.
#BoiseState 3 – Memphis 7
@radicalruss.comBroncos give up big pass, but D stiffens in the red zone, then blocks Tigers 20yd FG.
Heh heh. "D stiffens."
#BoiseState 3 – Memphis 0
@radicalruss.comThe #BoiseState 40th Anniversary of The Blue helmets are wicked cool.
But that means my sophomore year was 40 years ago!

@radicalruss.comHey #BoiseState fans! Your best deal to get the CBSSN / USA / CW channels online is YouTube TV. There's a Sports Package that's $0 21-day trial then $44.99/month until March. The 4-screen multiview is exceptional.
@netasgardusa.bsky.socialMichigan — A controversial final-second call and a Hail Mary led to Michigan’s narrow win over Western Michigan, sparking debate across sports media. #State #Michigan #BoiseState #WesternMichigan #News
@radicalruss.comMan, just too many big plays given up by #BoiseState in the 2nd half.
But the PAC-State is on notice. Broncos went to the wire with a B18 Ten team. On the road. Better be ranked next week.
(Need a reason to break out my Big XVI nickname, too... oh, I just did!)
@radicalruss.comEither that big yellow O stands for Overrated or the Broncos have been seriously underrated in the preseason. A #2 ranked 24½ point favorite at home got taken all the way to the final drive for a seven-point win?
See you in the playoffs, Oregon. #BoiseState
