As the great shadow fell upon Metru Nui, one team of new Toa rose to pick up the pieces - the legacy of its last protector.

Move Along™
You may be one Inika you may be many
...you may get new masks, body armor, etc... it's not what you got, but what you do with it... That makes you...
A hero!

A quick pin-up that bounced into my head and I just HAD to pull it off before sleep.

These guys (2001 Turaga got 3/6, 2003 Matoran got 8/8) were really hard to come by.
But I'm glad I got all Nuju, Matoro and Kopaka... Also, the Golden Ignika which was expected since it first "sank" in the black waters in 2007... Got mine in 2010. Where did time go?

Day 7, I'm still on Mata Nui: Kopaka is wearing a Ruru as there's no simple "taking a night stroll" at Ko-Wahi. He brings faithful Matoro back to Ko-Koro, where he's greeted by Turaga Nuju

Who is it in the first frame? The face in the rock, the monstrous cavern with the evil grin? Is it Makuta?
Not quite...
It's from #Lego Roboriders — they fought against a virus taking over their environment. Does it sound familiar? Makuta did put Mata Nui to sleep (using ... Viruses)

New #Bionicleart this time one portraying my #MOC / "revamp" of #ToaInika Kongu! Used to draw this guy 20 years ago. Will share my old drawings later.

Ah crap I forgot to post, we'll better late than never. Days 5 and 6 of #inktober #inktober2026 #bonktober #bioniclefanart #bionicle

Kopaka was my 5th Toa. There's something really interesting about his design. The Akaku really draws from the Lego piece which he uses as a shield. I really missed these details later on. The scope gimmick also lost it's appeal in later sets.

I bet Kopaka is still popular: Akaku's scope, the proper sword and a shield make it for one of the most complete Toa. The character is very likeable as well: rational, cold, no-nonsense.

That wraps up the Toa Mata — but in week 2 I'll remain in Mata Nui 🏝️🗿

GANGZ No. 5, the BEAST

Vezok names his man-killing pets “princess” and “yum-yum”. Reminder to keep your pet Fenrakk on a leash.

When I put my #Bionicle collection together with my brother's, we've got 195 different sets. My first was POHATU. His first was LEWA.
Counting all the canisters, I've got more blue than any other colour (only two were his). He's got more green than any other (only two were mine).

Voyatoran Goot (air) (he/him), Noren (plant life) (he/him), Pojuju (stone) (she/her), and Lupitatu (ice) (they/them) #Bionicle
