@dcdutchiedude.bsky.socialI didnt work with smartbike but my understanding is the capital costs alone to build stations was insane. 3+week construction.
Vs. CaBi’s system (pioneered by Bixi) was avg. $50k capital cost and 2-hour install.
As i say everyear: Smartbike walked so Capital Bikshare could run!
