I have been loving the way that Prishchepov has been playing these opening games. He is playing with a ton of spark and is involved in the play every time he is on the ice. He is definitely aware of what he needs to do to move up #Avs #GoAvsGo #EaglesCountry @HockeyMtnHighCO

Schwartz gets called for high sticking, and the #Avs head back to the penalty kill. #GoAvsGo

Nabokov is plowed into so the Canucks head to the box fir interference. Eagles now will get their first PP of the night. #Avs #GoAvsGo #EaglesCountry @HockeyMtnHighCO

Four minutes later, the #Avs still lead 2-1. #GoAvsGo

Kole Lind responds with a goal for the Canucks and we have a tied game early in the first #Avs #GoAvsGo #EaglesCountry @HockeyMtnHighCO

MacKinnon draws a tripping penalty, and the #Avs power play will continue for another two minutes! #GoAvsGo

JAKE WISE does not wait to get the scoring started for the Eagles as he flings the puck into the back of the net for his second of the season. Gavin Brindley (4), Domenick Fensore (4) on the assists #Avs #GoAvsGo #EaglesCountry @HockeyMtnHighCO

The second period is GO between the #Avs and Maple Leafs! #GoAvsGo

Matt Steinburg is out of the lineup tonight against his former team after getting dinged up. It was a very physical game last night #Avs #GoAvsGo #EaglesCountry @HockeyMtnHighCO

Lineup remains the same with Nabokov in net and 11-7

The #Avs are leading 2-1 after the 1st.

Despite surrendering the 1st goal, the boys battled back to take the lead. It would be nice to start capitalizing on the PP.

Bedsy might also want to consider breaking up the 2nd line. They're not effective at all.

The #Avs skate a one goal lead into the break!

Toronto opened the scoring early, but the good guys pull ahead off two great plays by MacKinnon to force the Leafs onto their heels.

Good response, but there's more work to do in this game.

0:59 of power play time left. #GoAvsGo

Kadri draws a hooking penalty, and the #Avs head back to the power play! #GoAvsGo

That second MacKinnon goal doesn't happen without the great work by Lehkonen on the end boards to pry the puck away from McCabe before getting the puck to Nečas.

Another example of what makes him so valuable for the #Avs. #GoAvsGo

After creating time and space off the pass from Makar, MacKinnon throws a puck through traffic, and it ping-pongs past Bobrovsky to put the #Avs in front! #GoAvsGo

Big Mack Attack!

Again!

Nathan MacKinnon puts the #Avs ahead 2-1! #GoAvsGo

The MacKinnon goal and put some much needed life into the #Avs game. They've been creating more chances on Bobrovsky and are forcing him to move and scramble.

More plays like that and they'll get rewarded. #GoAvsGo

Big Mack Attack!

Nathan MacKinnon ties the game for the #Avs at one! #GoAvsGo

The #Avs are struggling to find their rhythm early here tonight.

Toronto is one of the stronger opponents they've faced to this point in the season. While there's still ample time to generate chances, it's opponents like them that they'll need to measure up against. #GoAvsGo

Former friend of the show Nick Blankenburg puts the #Avs down by one early.

He snuck into the near face-off circle and received a great pass from Nylander to beat his former goalie for the game's opening goal. #GoAvsGo
