Unai Emery: "I think Lindelof is replacing Konsa well. Taylor [THB] is adapting to us and I think that he is going to progress and feel better. When we arrived here, Konsa got better. We are going to need time with some players. We know it. We must be patient."

Unai Emery: "To draw at home is not a good result. We are sad. We were expecting the match like it was. We expected to dominate the ball more than we did. Defensively we conceded more than we expected. I am optimistic because we improved things we needed after Forest."

"You can feel the history here. I love coming here. But there is one side missing, it feels different.” #AVFC

We have some real gems in Gomes, Manzambi and Jackson, brilliant footballers.

Complete lack of control is alarming tho, defence isn’t good enough or fast enough to cope with runners coming on to them all the time. I hope we’re looking out for left-sided CBs for January #avfc

Shame we didn’t hold on to that especially with our next 2 fixtures #avfc

Lindelof had a great game but it was his side of the defence at fault for the Brentford equaliser. Suzuki's sweeping was good but his shot stopping today perhaps left a bit to be desired. Both goals he could've done a bit better for #AVFC

Frustrating but they're a good side tbf. Let ourselves down at times. Let me down as I'd had 3-2 on the Super6 😂

The nicest thing I can say about the ref is at least he was rubbish for both teams #AVFC

⭐ Match Ratings: Aston Villa 2–2 Brentford

#avfc #brentford #premierleague

Is the Villa Park since the construction no stronghold anymore? Or is it the new team setting still needs more time for adjustments and rehearse? Besides that is Brentford a hard team to play. Result is fair but Aston Villa needs to progress a bit more from now on. #AVFC #AVLBRE

Not a bad point against a team in great form. Couple of poor goals to concede, and definitely left some out there ourselves. Jackson and Manzambi looking very good, Wan-Bissaka really did a sterling job filling in at left back when Ruggeri came off #AVFC

I'm just going to say it. If forced to choose, I actually prefer Nico to Ollie. Loved him today. Terrorises defences. Could be unplayable when he finally gets into the groove. #avfc #utv

Cant be happy for draw, enough chances to win that game. That Brentford 2nd goal, i dont see that kind of defending for Finland 2nd division, absolutely horrififc. Manzambi is a player and some good attacking patterns.
