Monitor shows a Llorente handball in the build up though, and it won't count. #MUFC will be mightily relieved #ATMMUN #UCL

GOAL! A hammer blow for #MUFC courtesy of a brilliant Cardoso strike. Slots home from the edge of the box #ATMMUN #UCL

STFU Fernandez. #ATMMUN

Easier said than done, mind #ATMMUN #UCL

Fernandes the latest to cause panic by running at this Atléti defence, but they manage to slow the Portuguese down and the move fizzles out. They're there to be got at if #MUFC run at them more often #ATMMUN #UCL

Carrick's side are up against it, but they're playing well enough so far. I say that and Fernandes picks up a silly yellow card. #ATMMUN #UCL

Atléti can't quite find their rhythm in the final third. That makeshift defence has held together well since the early goal #ATMMUN #UCL

May be personal bias and experience, but there are few better nights in the #UCL than the one you get at the Wanda. Glad it's hosting the final. #ATMMUN #UCL

It's Isabel's moan off time again, but changing the format hasn't made the #UCL more exciting. The old European Cup was miles better... Actual champions and straight knockout. Either of these sides could lose tonight, and it'd hardly be the end. #ATMMUN #UCL

Watching #ATMMUN on Prime and multiview on HBO #UCL

Mbuemo causing all sorts of problems. Romero looks proper ropey at the back for Atléti. Mbuemo next goalscorer. My prediction #ATMMUN #UCL

Then again, this is a makeshift #MUFC defence. Thoughts? #ATMMUN #UCL

How important is tonight for Michael Carrick and his job security? 🤔 #ATMMUN #UCL

Really impressed by #MUFC's response since they've gone a goal behind. I do think they'll at least score tonight. Gone for 2-1 to Atléti #ATMMUN #UCL

Almost a fast response, and it's Mbuemo who tears the #Atléti defence apart. Just unlucky with the finish. A rousing response to Barrios' opener in the first minute #ATMMUN #UCL

Viking, Napoli and Atletico with early leads in the Champions League.
