Smal portret van een Italiaanse theoloog Don Carina. In de nacht geschilderd en van de zijkant kijkt deze priester ons onverbiddelijke en streng aan. Zijn magere gezicht met plooien en rimpels en grote ogen accentueert dit nog meer. Hij is gekleed in een zwart habijt en draagt een zwart hoedje. In dit donkere schilderij valt zijn gezicht het meest op. Zijn twee handen zijn ook nog duidelijk zichtbaar. In zijn rechterhand heeft hij natuurlijk een bijbel vast.

熊本にて県立美術館へルノワールを見に行きました。
でも天井を見上げて
この天井ただものじゃないと思い
柱を見て これは前川國男の建築だと気が付きました！

度重なる地震にもびくともしてない
堅牢でオシャレな昭和の建築
ドアノブや照明器具など細部へのこだわりも見られて感激しました。

展覧会では私は猪熊弦一郎の絵が
気に入りました。

#杉本博司 「絶滅写真」展の続き。
数式を立体化した＜数理模型＞とファッションはどこか類似性も。＜肖像＞は実は全て蝋人形なのに生気がすごかった。＜放電場＞は写真乾板に直接電気を放電した物でとても繊細。＜オプティックス＞はプリズム分光した色面を撮ったカラー作品。＜CAMERA MAN＞はシャッターが1秒だけ開く人間写真機の様な立体作品。最後に地獄絵図と硝子玉の中に海景を封入した五輪塔。3階では作業メモのスギモトノートの展示。複製本は自由に見られて技法など非常に興味深かった。

現代美術作家 #杉本博司 「絶滅写真」展を観覧。以前雑誌で<ジオラマ>や<海景>のシリーズを見て衝撃を受け 昨年は江の浦測候所も訪問しました。本展は初期から現在の銀塩写真をメインに展示。8x10大判銀塩写真ならではの豊かな階調表現をじっくり見る事ができます。新作2点を含む＜ジオラマ＞、映画1本分露光した＜劇場＞。＜海景＞は7枚が半円形の1室に集められ壮観。ぼやけた像で、実体化する前の観念のような＜建築＞へと続きます。 #東京国立近代美術館 で9/13まで。
