Glazing St. Louis for playing out a 0-0 draw at home, getting out-xGD'd, and acting like it's some huge moral victory is crazy work. I know they broke the unbeaten record, but it’s not like this was some masterful showing from them.

Strong first half, but things fell off in the second half. You take the point but it felt like it should've been more, especially because of the first half. Yohei Takaoka and Ryan Gauld at the end especially came up huge in the second half. 0 shots on target from 16 tho...

FT Thoughts:

-Not a great second half for the Caps, but a big point on the road
-Second match in a row looking more like themselves against a good team
-White big chances missed
-Gauld and Takaoka tremendous showings

Save it all for the playoffs, Smart! #VWFC

Your proverbial game of two halves.

Felt like LAFC game. Strong first half for #VWFC, looked tired and lacking any real attacking threat in second or on bench.

Would have taken point going into the game, but disappointing to just get one after those first 15 minutes.

FT Thoughts:
- A road point in St. Louis is good, but given how well #VWFC was in the 1st half...feels like a bit of a wasted opportunity
- Shots have to become shots on target
- Good on St. Louis for breaking the undefeated record
- Still holding onto top spot in the West

Hearing the commentary team actively cheering for St. Louis is frustrating, albeit not unexpected.

Becher slips free and Takaoka has to make a huge 1v1 stop.
