This show was ahead of its time both in the plot and fashion #GHWP

Ishinomori never pulled any punches from the start that Kamen Rider was such a horror-centric story. Body horror, classic horror references, all of it almost masquerading as a superhero show entirely.

A huge part of what made Batman The Animated Series so damn good in the beginning, too. #GHWP

"I'm Bat Man." Hmmm. #ghwp

Those folks are really elegant in this episode #GHWP

"A shocker cyborg." Big time. #ghwp

There are always plenty of teeth in those characters #GHWP

Whoa. Pretty graphic attack. #ghwp

I see. Very nice. I haven't seen this one, but it looks great 😊 #GHWP

"Don't oversleep, Miho" #GHWP

Interesting that the foreign subtitles have 'rider' with a Boston accent: "raidaa" #ghwp

This is the very first series and the second episode, from 1971. #GHWP

@sonofkaras.bsky.social In which year this version of Kamen Rider was made? #GHWP

Random pumpkin post in homage to Halloween #GHWP

Points to anyone that notices the actor that appears in this reel twice from roles 30 years apart. #GHWP

I went to subway today and the big store that has only ever been a costume store for the month before Halloween isn't even being used for that this year. #ghwp

Cool intro song #GHWP

Volume up to 200%. Make them bleed. #GHWP
