I ended up bringing #DHmakes to a symposium for the Samuelson Law, Technology & Public Policy Clinic’s 25th Anniversary last week, as an extended metaphor through the performance art of spinning in public. Here's more or less my remarks from the closing panel.

Had a morning full of failure noodles at the knitting machine, but in the afternoon I learned some new things (including my first try at double weave) being the live weaver at an installation at the art building. #DHmakes

Plied and wound up a ball of the yarn I was spinning during the Samuelson Clinic anniversary event last week. Since my remarks ended up being an analogy between spinning and the law, I'm going to knit them a little decorative something with this yarn. #DHmakes
