The important thing is that the white lady THINKS she does, and can be the center of the narrative. #Candyman #HATM

Candyman is a pretty decent guardian - I'd be hard pressed to keep a baby alive for like a month in some dingy, burned out apartment. #Candyman #HATM

SNEH who just sat down to join me: Wait, they cut his hand off?
Me: Yeah, that's the history story in the movie
SNEH: But he got a really sweet hook out of it.

Tony Todd had live bees in his mouth for this scene, and was paid $1000 for every bee string...earning $27,000 for this scene alone (no CGI here). #Candyman #HATM

I think that is a plausible reading that he is drugging her and possible even paying off the gangers to threaten her in the bathroom - that this is just a play on Gaslight. #Candyman #HATM

There is a reading Helen is Candyman, so did indeed come home to put the scare into them. #Candyman #HATM

See this is why I like "What Lies Beneath." Creepy professor gets his in the end. Also, I would love if that was streaming for #HATM this year but alas. #Candyman

And knows how to make an exit

My only reference for those psych ward doors are Terminator 2. Not sure this doc is going to be any better. #HATM #Candyman

I mean, Willow was basically an entire film of everyone stealing a baby from each other. #Candyman #HATM

So seeing lady in psych ward who should be wondering if she hurt someone with a knife or not make me think of Gothika with Halle Berry. Pretty decent scary movie if you haven't seen it. www.imdb.com/title/tt0348... #HATM #Candyman

"What do the good know except what the bad teach them by their excesses?" There is a lot of great lines throughout. #Candyman #HATM

I'm amazed Trevor bothered to go to the hospital with her. #HATM #Candyman

So far Candyman's scariest power is framing people for murder. #HATM #Candyman

Definitely a lot - I think Beetlejuice is the most powerful (minor reality warper and basically a cartoon character), though he might be open to a three-way with the other two. #Candyman #HATM

Ok, bonus points for the creepy organ music. #HATM #Candyman
