#booksof2026 #30 another Sedaris, but I’d already read most of this writing in other places

#booksof2026 #29 how can you not like David Sedaris? This writing was what launched him I believe, and it’s easy to see why

#booksof2026 #28 went after this after reading Sedaris, but this didn’t match up.

#booksof2026 #27 I love Damien’s books, and I was really tooting for the characters here. Great stuff, funny and emotive.

#booksof2026 #26 well this was a change, and I ate it up. Couldn’t *quite* follow the ending, but what a trip

#booksof2026 #25 thirsty to know more about Rory, what drives him, how he copes with everything, but this didn’t scratch the itch. Read more like a journalist with a gripe, cashing in. Annoying.

#booksof2026 #24 If I remembered Agassi at all, it was as a spóilt asshole. But he’s Steffi Graf’s partner, and I really like her, so gave this a go. A great decision. What a brilliant read! And a complete reversal of what I thought of him. Interesting life, profession, family. Loved it!

#booksof2026 #23 holiday read, with a twisty plot. Good fun.

#booksof2026 #22 another poolside read, but I have no recollection of it at all

#booksof2026 #21 another holiday Reacher, devoured in a day by the pool

#booksof2026 #20 another holiday read, another author and series I’d never heard of - and loved it

#booksof2026 #19 another from the Rivers of London series, not as good as the first

#booksof2026 #18 found this in the holiday home in Portugal, my first ever Reacher - these are great fun

#booksof2026 #17 found another Rankin/Rebus and had to tear through it

#booksof2026 #16 LOVED this book (hated this cover)

#booksof2026 #15 I had never heard of this author or series until I picked this up - and I loved it

#booksof2026 #14 I LOVE these. As a medieval history nut these are right up my street

#booksof2026 #13 another Rankin! Time I snap out of this!

#booksof2026 #12 another Rankin, if you have a few in the series you feel obliged to start the next

#Booksof2026 #11 another Rankin - and this one’s a keeper, a pre publication copy
