Autor Mal Faite Sir Lancelot desires nothing more than to perform a miracle. As proof that the ugly— Worthless— Sinful creature he believes himself to be has been forgiven by God. My will to write— To create something good and pure— Is akin to The Ill-Made Knight’s hope. Stems from a like need to achieve validation from fate. In Malory, the irony is that— After the Chevalier Mal Fet performs his miracle— He feels no better about himself. Feels worse, in fact. Surer that he is a sinner. My hope realised, would I feel similarly?
