The shuttle came to a stop at the end of the tunnel, suspended upon jets of steam, and for a moment, it appeared as though the source of the primion radiation was a massive, unassuming icosahedron.

Switching sensors to infrared told a different story.

7. Mining
It took way too long to make it relative to how plain it looks.

A crew of three is packed into a tiny command section, but it has it all: lasers to cut rocks, harpoons to tow them, manipulators to pick them up. No FTL drive though.

Shipyards at Luna cranked out thousands of the Busan-class light freighter during the Diaspora, and two hundred years later they're mostly still running. Simple and rugged, they can be had for a song and are often converted for piracy or merc-work.

Spaceshiptember 07: Conversion
