The book I just opened for preorder has a character who is lactose intolerant and that intolerance is part of the plot (complete with with love interest bringing store brand Lactaid to a picnic). And this is the “episode” where we find out why the words “Iris and the Crew” appears in the title of the book!

I don't feel resilient. I feel exhausted. I feel lonely. I feel like a burden. I don't feel like persistence is the same thing as resilience.
I might not be in the best place right now, but I don't remember ever feeling proud of how I made it through something. I just keep going.
