Just reread last night's pages from the new #sci-fi #horror novel. I'm 10k into Act 1, and I already have a strong sense of the characters.

This is definitely an ecophagy narrative, popularized in the 80s and 90s by books like Engines of Creation, though I also draw on cybernetics...
