The attack-based solution is attack strategy for getting Velde, Janssen and Lassiter into shooting outside-the-18 positions for service. Yeah, it’s hard, but slowly passing ball around perimeter doesn’t work when we don’t have an attacker who can drive ball at defense to create gaps in it. #rctid

I hear you, but our attack problems start in back. We can’t maintain takeaways through transition; if Pele and Ronaldinho up top, it wouldn’t matter because they can’t receive ball in dangerous central positions. I realize “cross and pray” drives up xG, but it’s a last resort approach. #rctid
