This week started Aces Scouring Sands! I'm an AS novice still, but the Aces campaign system has us excited - only did the simulator mission so far (10/10 VP btw, to humble brag). The groupchat is now in deep deliberation building our merc company😂

I've not played a lot of A.S. all of my experience with A.S. is aces. I prefer classic , but A.S. is solid. it allows you to play larger battles and is similar to much of the tabletop rulesets out there. solid ruleset that pairs nicely with aces.

@sj82.bsky.socialAlpha Strike: I really want to like it, but the standard dice rolls are something I highly dislike as well as the sheets(cards). To me, it loses its individuality for each mech and that hinders me. That being said, I love playing it with my kids!

Alpha Strike is great because I field so many more units, and units I wouldn't field in Classic. I like the speed of play, true LOS, terrain, plus how it plays like a traditional wargame.
And let's not forget ACES, where I can play solo!
