Three canes, made extra long so each could be cut down to the right height for whoever got it. Refinished the end and added a rubber cap after cutting. Waxed and oiled.

After a long time away, I went back today to work on the mallet.

And I actually finished!

Not without splitting the wood and also cutting myself twice in 10 seconds.

But worth it! First project done.

Mortise and tenon not as clean as I'd like, but it's a decent start 😬

Made a little camp stool to use at markets. Based on a design from Lost Art Press except that I stitched the seat rather than riveting it. I learned a lot from this one. I'll probably make a second one eventually.
