When a web novel gets picked up for print, how much does the author actually rewrite versus just cleaning up the prose? Some series get a second draft, others barely change a sentence. Curious which authors are known for major print revisions. #lightnovel #webnovel

machine translated web novel chapters read a lot cleaner now than they did two years ago. some MTL is honestly smoother than certain official releases from five years back. does that change how long you're willing to wait for a real license? #webnovel #lnreader

danmei and baihe web novels build huge online followings for years before an English publisher even announces them, while isekai gets licensed almost as soon as it trends. rights issues or publishers underestimating the audience? #webnovel #lightnovel

regression and rebirth plots basically ate the cultivation genre. half the xianxia webnovels releasing now open with the MC already dying once. is it actually a stronger hook or has it just become the default because everyone copies what's trending? #xianxia #webnovel
