Lunar Marine Corps is the toughest, meanest, hardest-fighting branch in the whole Feddie military. Those prima donna Drop Troopers get all the fancy toys and glossy press, but Lunar Marines fight on the deadliest battlefield of all, with gear a generation out of date.

After C-SAR has finished their work, the scavengers move in. Galveston-class salvage tenders burn hard to chase down the dead hulks. Working parts are removed before the rest is broken down into raw materials, returned to the fleet via mass driver.

The solar sailer 'Queen of the Ether' coasts with her sails folded.

The sail material is a close relative to LCD screens, and trimming is done electrically, but when coasting they are closed to prevent damage.

Anaheim Station sits above Typhon's rings and exists as a (theoretically) neutral medical resupply post, though it mostly services passing ERRF strike forces bound for deeper in-system.

Often called "Slingshotters" in salvage operations. Tether Pilots operate in two person crews (Pilot, and wire operator) to harpoon salvage, than move and throw into the catch bay of the recovery hauler. A job known for it's high risk and high pay. #sst26 #b3d #sst2026

Tlaltecuhtli team had repurposed a freighter deep within sector 7-E, and embedded the ship in an ancient vertical tunnel. The behemoth laid surrounded by similar corpses.

Explorers knew to bring broken things, including people, here.
