gasp! the twist episode! we knew all this already, but it was still painful to see lara going through the realization 😭 and i guess a bunch of people out there really *did* need it spelled out lol

#SayonaraLara Now that Lara has realized both her feelings for Mari, and what the dagger of her power might mean, needs to make sure Mari stays away from her, so she is using her one phone call for that.

#SayonaraLara Not sure how believable this will be to the Otsu's, but at least Mari has come out to them with the truth.

Poor Yoshiya just stunned by this revelation, and he hasn't even gotten to the part that the girl living with them that he's kind of into, is in love with his sister.

#SayonaraLara I am glad that this was brought up. While Lara is precious to Mari, she is someone many other people care about, and are also worried that she is missing. Maybe the truth would have been confusing, but had Mari reached out for help, her family would have assisted. Maybe even a boat?

#SayonaraLara Lara finally admits the truth to herself, that the person she truly loves is Mari. The past two episodes definitely could had a good chunk cut or re-arranged, but getting to this point finally, I am very happy with, even if it should have happened a bit sooner.

#SayonaraLara I don't think Rowan's plan here of telling Lara that she needs to stab her true love in order to I guess control her power, is the way to convince her to help.

#SayonaraLara Dad telling Lara to stop denying her feelings for a girl, but then you have to stab her with a dagger

#SayonaraLara More pressuring of Lara to use a power she is fearful of, has no control of, in order to save her sisters.

#SayonaraLara Luca, not a frog person apparently, ignoring how that frog was spawned. I get the flowers are probably trying to turn the area back into the palace, though how amphibians like frogs would fit into that, bit confused lol.

#SayonaraLara Some algae and flowers in the water seems like a flimsy excuse to keep Mari away from Lara, but maybe I can see if their were concerns of wanting scientists to first observe this phenomena undisturbed by things like boats. Can't see fishermen happy about that though.

#SayonaraLara Interesting that the flowers actually are noticeable by humans, but they are also effecting the local ecosystem. Helpful though that Luca saw them prior and it's at least a clue for them to find Lara.

#SayonaraLara Lara of course sees it as a curse, after seeing it nearly kill the Prince she was in love with, and Luca, who she was forcing herself to feel for.

#SayonaraLara Is Lara's light some sort of weapon then, that Rowan wants to turn on humanity? If so, he's um, a few hundred years behind on current technology.

#SayonaraLara I had wondered why there was nothing so far with her mother, so it makes sense that she was killed years prior, and of course Rowan then blames all of humanity, for the actions of a few hundreds of years ago, but it's interesting that even before that, the palace was losing it's light.

THE YAOI EPISODE
#sayonaralara

#SayonaraLara Hopefully Lara can just dump him in the lake and let him float away, but somehow doubt that this was Rowan's request.

#SayonaraLara Lara, who has come to cherish humans, and love one girl in particular, is quite angry with her dad's callous remarks about one of their features. Hopefully this further pushes her to use her powers for her own desires, and not as a familial obligation.

#SayonaraLara Through all of this, the person at the front of Lara's mind is still Mari, much to the annoyance of Lisa, who wants her to forget all about humans. Unfortunately for her, Mari is Lara's true love, as she is starting to realize herself.

#SayonaraLara Again the forced obligation to use her power for her family, no matter the pain that the power causes Lara.

#SayonaraLara Mari suffering while thinking of Lara, but searching everywhere that she knows that either Lara or Lisa might be, in her chase of finding her girl.
