Today has shown how weak our bench is. Wilson, Aaronson, Nemecha, just not good enough. Once Tanaka and Stach run out of steam our midfield just disappears. Desperately need new players in January. Arsenal were there for the taking today and we couldn't capitalise on it. #lufc

The puff of cheeks from Arteta speaks volumes. We made them sweat but again we can't maintain intensity long enough. A reality check. Subs were meh. Wilson needs to find some form or what's the point? #lufc

The better team for an hour and deserved leaders at that point… as we know though it only takes one moment for the script to flip.
This Leeds team deserve a lot of credit though and Arsenal won’t have too many harder home games this season.
A case of what might have been for #LUFC

Encouraging that we can be disappointed to get nowt from the game. Deserved more, but if you don't take your chances... #LUFC

Ahhh. Compared to last season, massive improvement. Difference was the benches, not a lot we can do about that at this stage. Let’s beat Scum and all will be well #lufc

Well, spoke too soon. Still a better scoreline than I predicted nevertheless we still showed promise against the champions. If we take this attitude into future games we've got a chance to make some headlines. #LUFC

Well I think most of us would have taken a narrow defeat pre game. Not a single shot second half though and to be fair to Farke very little on the bench to change a game once we go behind. Hopefully that will be addressed in the summer. #lufc

Good match. Leeds played solid outside of a ten minute stretch. #LUFC

Quality of our bench the big issue there even if we deserved a draw. Do we really have to take Okafor and Tanaka off that soon though? Fine if you’ve someone decent to replace them with but Aaronson, Wilson and Nmecha was like throwing in the towel from the corner. #LUFC

There are levels to this game and we've gone up at least one. The depth of squad ultimately told, but that is a narrow defeat to the potential champions. #lufc

The benches made all the difference there, unfortunately. Good effort though #lufc

Gutted, but also very proud and definent of the Lads and Gaffer. We ain't gonna be in a relegation battle this season, a top ten league finish is very doable #ARSLEE #LUFC #MOT #ALAW

Lots of positives from this game loads of negatives also Trafford should have saved that second goal yet he didn't if we carry on with this attitude we will be safe scum up next at home we need to take three points for sure M.O.T #lufc

Thought we had them there. Bah humbug. #lufc

As soon as we went 0-1 up, Arsenal clicked into gear and we lost control of the centre of the park. Carrying cards from the first half perhaps took the sting out of Amps and Tanaka. Unbeaten record gone, but a brilliant 60 minutes against the best, and plenty to be happy with.

#lufc right that's enough.

📰 A battling display but it ends in defeat at the Emirates Stadium this afternoon.
