Ariadna Gupta Espada has absolutely gorgeous spins and nice performance skills. That fall on the final jump looked painful! #JGPFigure

Kudos to Ula Zadnikar for an unusual music choice, but at least today she doesn't have the power to match that first song. That was a rough, rough skate. #JGPFigure

Another great skate from Layla Cetin! What a wonderful moment in front of a home crowd. #JGPFigure

Sofia Nekrassova is tiny and fierce and has lovely transitions and spins, but her jumps weren't on her side today. #JGPFigure

FANTASTIC FS from Adelina Voroteliak! Great spins too! #JGPFigure

Another really rough skate for Zlata Saprina. Goldeneye, It's Raining Men, Holding Out For A Hero makes for a strange but delightful medley. #JGPFigure

It's a shame about the flip, because otherwise Darja Trubitson's FS was so lovely! #JGPFigure

Oh dear, Hannah Frank kept her Zombie program.

Once more for the skaters at the back: THE SONG ZOMBIE IS NOT ABOUT LITERAL ZOMBIES. IT'S ABOUT THE IRISH TROUBLES. PLEASE TREAT IT ACCORDINGLY. #JGPFigure

Disaster skate from Sofia Chen, just tighter and tighter on every jumping pass. You can tell she's capable of so much more. #JGPFigure

It was definitely work today for Ava Yu Tong Chen, but she's clearly determined and improving. #JGPFigure

Missed Ilona van Steenberghe and Arina Kalugina because I spilled cherry milkshake all over a yellow dress. But back now! #JGPFigure

Lelle Agota Molnar is a showman in the making! Couldn't sell the program fully today because she was so busy ytying to make her jumps. #JGPFigure

Still rough on the jumps for Jana Horcickova, but she sold the rest of that program really well, and her ending spins were fantastic! #JGPFigure

Two falls right off the bat for Katarina Fedorova Coelho, one a fluke when she was just skating, and yet she had a smile on her face through that entire program! Love her wry little smile and head tilt at the end of the program. #JGPFigure

Not the skate Nora Sayed wanted and she looks so upset in the K&C. This is the worst part of being a figure skating fan. #JGPFigure

Another great skate for Paula Kasnar! With a 3LzT2! I'm so pleased for her! #JGPFigure

Rough skate for Bella Aydin, especially the second half, but she held it together and got through it. That's so tough, especially at home. #JGPFigure

GREAT skate for Arina Vorobeva! There'll be some rotation problems on some of her jumps, but she landed everything well and sold everything with all her heart! #JGPFigure

It was shaping up to be a really strong skate for Kalyn Shimogaki, until she had a nasty fall on first a 3S and then on the following 2A. She looks so winded after that program. #JGPFigure
