Heading and text from article: Brandon Herrera On September 30, Brandon Herrera, the Republican nominee for Texas’s 23rd Congressional District, took the stage for Ken Paxton. If that name sounds familiar it’s because the San Antonio Current has been running his receipts all year. Here’s a non-exhaustive list. On a 2022 episode of a right-wing podcast, Herrera said he wished COVID had killed more “fat people”. In his words: “I’m of the opinion COVID wasn’t bad enough because if you had something that just unfairly targeted f*cking fat people, I’m here for it. I would have worn my mask nowhere on purpose.” In a separate resurfaced bit, Herrera complained that America has gone to sh*t since women got the right to vote. He has joked that rubbing ranch dressing on his skin made him “irresistible to fat b*tches.” In a 2022 clip that resurfaced this spring, he told mothers who speak out on politics that he didn’t care about their opinions and called their children “c*m trophies.” He has also reenacted the assassination of Martin Luther King Jr. on camera and reviewed the rifle used by James Earl Ray. He was a member of a North Carolina chapter of the Sons of Confederate Veterans as recently as 2019. This is who Ken Paxton picked to open for him.

Malheureusement il n'y a pas suffisamment de sous pour palier à la perte de vies qu'il a causé!
Détruire l'hôpital, laisser des territoires sans médecins, faire rien pour arrêter le #Covid, baisser les budgets pour les centres de prévention... tout cela et plein dautres se mesurent en vies humaines
