Latissimus dorsi literally translates to "the broadest (muscle) of the back." Its wide shape creates much of the male torso's triangular shape, making it one of the key muscles for artists to know. #anatomy #3dmodeling #characterdesign

A strange transparent creature called the “Thinker” with four long tentacles with opaque red tips coming out of the lower torso of the creature. There are eleven smaller tentacles around the base of what appears to be the creature's "neck". The small tentacles are red and opaque, and almost look like an anemone. A neck like tentacle is in the center of the smaller ones and ends in a bulbous transparent "head" with strange oval eyes that can be seen inside. The transparent segments of the creature have a slight tint of purple around the edge, similar to the coloration one could find on the edges of a soap bubble. The red segment fades into the transparent segment in a way that it looks like a membrane that is peeling off. It is almost as if the red coloration is not actually a part of the creature. This fading/peeling can also be seen around the small tentacles around the "neck" base.A window of Blender3D is open showing the different parts of the Thinker. The left window shows the creature as a whole. The right windows split horizontally, the top half showing the “torso” of the creature with its brain visible behind the bits of fading red coming from the tentacles around the “neck” base. The lower window shows the opaque red color of the tentacles on the lower half of the torso transitioning into the transparent segments.
