A combination of poor luck and poor play has buried the Kraken. Vegas seems to be getting every break, and they're making their own breaks too. Pretty hard to win a hockey game when that happens.

Seattle isn't playing well this second period AND they aren't getting the puck luck. Another weird bounce puts the Kraken defense in a bad spot and they take a 4-0 lead.

Vegas finds another. 4-0 off a perfect shot off the far post. The #SeaKraken have been the victims of some weird bounces but they've also been unable to get or keep possession of the puck.

Seattle is getting thoroughly outplayed so far in the second period.

Shorthanded goal for Vegas and it's 3-0...

Horrible luck as Montour had his stick snap on a slapshot, leaving him then without a stick as the lone #SeaKraken back on a 2 on 1.

Nic Dowd takes a holding penalty 17 seconds into the period, putting the #SeaKraken on the power play. Vegas took a penalty 15 seconds into the first period.

Presumably they will also take one in the third period at the 19 second mark.
