Having to do with excessive cleanliness, it is the root of anal compulsion, which has been attributed by psychoanalysts to harsh toilet training. However, if you think of it as a compulsion for excessive tidiness, you can see how it actually causes the unnecessarily strict parenting that involves harsh toilet training. We express this mythologically when we describe Loki being constrained and having poisons dripped on him forever and Prometheus having his liver eaten daily by an eagle, among many other myths of attack and brutalization, especially in an acidic way, upon the skin. There is much more. For now, however, I just want to give you an idea of the critical importance of the understandings ahead. We will take up these matrices in detail when we get to Veil Five. At this time, we need to look further back in time to the influences from earlier in womb life. Next, then, we get a perspective on our existence in the womb: I bring now, to you, a womb with a view.
Culture is collective psychology, in a sense. It is the obverse of Jung’s collective unconscious, for it is what is known in a culture, not unknown or unconscious. It could be said that culture is the collective consciousness, viewed in its widest possible way and including all possible elements of a culture, of a group. Following that? Okay, then, we can see that this end of the continuum, which we were calling culturally constituted realities, really goes further out from its supposed end point to individually constituted realities. These are realities that are unique to an individual and can only be understood within the context of that individual, and when encountered outside of that individual they are likely to be either misunderstood or not seen at all. For those of you following this, we can see that such personal “cultures,” if you will, comprised of individually constructed realities, are different, individual to individual, and that some of those cultural elements are shared widely, while some of those individuals have personal cultures with elements that are so unique and unshared that we have a special term for those individuals. I describe a metaphorical “coming together of heaven and earth” in our near future, using the analogy of people and angels rising to and returning from the sky.6 In Modern Media That our early life is felt as weightless is also the reason we are enamored of the gravity-less experience in space. Not only does our media replay depictions of space walks and astronauts in floating zero-gravity environ- ments, but we are attracted to and seek to re-experience this. I remember two different reality shows where the participants were rewarded with a weightless experience caused by an aircraft descending from high in the stratosphere at such a speed as to create it. I am aware that the movie, Gravity, received the Academy Award for best picture in 2013. It was a huge hit that year, capturing our collective imagination for quite a while. Practically the entire movie is set in space in such a gravity-less environment. The movie plays on the element of weightlessness. It even provides a pivotal scene where Dr. Ryan Stone, played by Sandra Bullock, is seen floating peacefully in fetal position, slowly turning within bright light, surrounded by a circle.

HUMANS WANT TO DIE Page 37 …with it, which is that to acknowledge that truth will actually result in the imagined hell becoming reality ... and that the only way they can save themselves from that hell is to, somehow, not be aware of their own reality as it is. So they must struggle mightily to not know what they indeed do know. Now, try that burden on for size. And just be glad that you are not them. They exist within that nightmare reality; they see it portrayed before and all around them. They are convinced we are living in it, too. So they have not even the respite, like watching a horror film, of ever walking out of the theater and thinking, “Well, I’m glad that was only a movie.” Hence, it is no coincidence that these sorry sorts are attracted to fantasies of denial, such as denying climate change, denying the Holo- caust, denying the atrocities committed by religions or their own governments. In striving to be shiny, happy people they create inner hells and outer monsters. Not only hell do they create, but many of the hellacious things on Earth are the offspring of these lives. For many suffer and die as a consequence of their fear-driven supreme efforts to bring their horrible reality into the actual world — the one we live in. Look to the wars and atrocities of all time, and you will see how much of it was perpetrated by people completely possessed by such horribly insane convictions.

COCAINE AND BOOZE Page 123 So the Vietnam-era or Sixties Generation began being denigrated in the press with the accusation, “The ‘Me’ Generation,” and Sixties values were also denigrated — the scapegoating of the Sixties Generation continuing — despite the fact that it was a different age group in society, the younger Yuppies, who were actually the ones triggering the attack. Opposing Worlds The hypocrisy of the charge of the Sixties Generation being Yuppies becomes even more blatant when considering their values. Sixties values included such selfless acts as risking, sometimes incurring, violence and personal harm, jail time, and a lower standard of living for the sake of their idealistic beliefs in peace, environmental restoration and preservation, and selfless communitarian living, among others. None of that has any overlap with Yuppie careerism, consumerism, materialism, or their individualistic greedy selfishness. But then truth was not their forte, the WWII and Fifties Generations. Later these same elderly generational types would tell us that an election in 2020 was stolen, and they would dare to say that some imaginary Antifa were who stormed the Capitol during the insurrection of January 6th, 2021. Daunting, these lies are, as they are indiscriminately piled, one upon the other down through the decades.
