For the adventure, enemies, NPC, and accomplishments needed to be adjusted for the group being able to level up.
I'm working on treasures right now, then I'll have to make sure the page layouts are looking good, and, finally, to do a last round of proofreading.

The screenshot shows a LibreOffice Calc table, used to calculate the XP Budgets for all monsters, NPC, and accomplishments in the adventure, in order to check if the characters will be able to level up as intended. All monster, NPC, tasks, and locations are smudged to become unreadable, to not give away too much of the adventure.

Every time #dnd5e player content drops, im so thankful that #pf2e player content actually has meaningfully different class mechanics with niche protection and massive flavor... rather than just like new ways to roll 2d20 against a flat AC and deal d6 damage.

Necromancer Day 38: Bone Burst
When a creature next to a thrall uses a manipulate or move action, or makes a ranged attack, destroy the thrall and deal 2d10 damage against a reflex save.

I prefer "upper cosmology" to be distant and mysterious. So they're rarely seen.

I love the #pf2e take where they have a very "Revelations" feel: wheels of fire, unblinking eyes, six wings, etc.

In my settings they are always good. But they are enigmatic, and almost "cold" in their compassion.

Branding! The 3-18 scale is core to the game's identity.

Because you're right: you could just use modifiers. (Speaking more about modern versions of D&D here. And there's some tiny edge-cases.)

#pf2e did exactly this, using modifiers only (post-remaster). Ability scores are becoming vestigial!

Necromancer Day 37: Bloody Tendrils
Learn the Bloody Tendrils grave spell. Create 3 medium thralls within 30 feet. They cannot move, are immune to physical damage, and a reach of 10 ft. When an enemy ends its turn in reach, it can Strike for 1d12 damage.

Arranged into four pieces, from the top-left clockwise to the bottom-right: A wallpaper, a vertical cut-in for critical hits/checks, a VTT-ready token and a VTT-ready token with an offset color-shadow for enhanced contrast, and a full-screen 'splash' critical hit cut-in that's inspired by Persona 5 (it has a 'RAAAAAAAH' onomotopaeia behind the character that fades out as it nears the right side) The art depicts an anthro t-rex who carries the bones of their dead friends to battle so that they might fight together even after their end. The dinosaur is blue scaled with glowing, swirling, cyan-esque paint that runs along the top of their hand and down their tail. On their front and back is a large scale that provides chitinous defense and on their off-hand is attached a triceratops skull fashioned into a boney-buckler.
