Q3: Many memorials and cemeteries offer a place for reflection. When visiting these places, where do you experience the most reflective spaces that speak about the history or event that took place? @59NationalParks @naturetechfam #ParkChat
A1) This was going to be my answer too- such a powerful site #ParkChat
I know what you mean! I won't even bring up my visit to Acadia this past weekend. Talk about surface scratching... #ParkChat
A2 We made sure to take our daughters to Arlington Cemetery & Gettysburg on repeat visits when they were young but different ages to give them a sense of the sacrifice people have made for this country. I am always humbled by that #parkchat
I haven't been there since the tower has been completed. I think my last visit was in 2020. #ParkChat
Yeah, from the bottom of the hill it's captivating too. #ParkChat
A2 #ParkChat If I stick with the sunken road theme, I revisit it from different entry points. I hike in from the Mumma Road pullover. I enter from the War Deparment Observation Deck. I want to explore why this area affects me the way it does, and when that effect hits.
Checking in late (sorry!!) from Wisconsin! Excited to chat! #ParkChat

A1 This is the Jimi Hendrix Memorial in Renton WA. It has a golden guitar, the air is usually perfumed with a smoked product. He was a big deal when I was a kid, this is worth a visit if your in the Seattle area. #parkchat
