As we head to the last 2 in the Junior Men's Free in Ankara, this is going to end up being 1 of the lowest scoring events I've seen in over 10 years.
Not 1 skater has gotten over 200.
Can Yehor Kurtsev (🇺🇦) or Daiya Ebihara (🇯🇵) change that?

Cannot believe how far Kirk Haugeto (🇺🇲) is moving in the current standings.
It's possible he'll medal now after the performance we saw of Habin Choi (🇰🇷).
Totally opposite of what we saw in Riga almost a month ago.

I applaud Kirk Haugeto for staying and watching his teammates free while signing autographs.
Usually that does help but not the case as fellow 🇺🇲 Ryan William Azadpour just struggled through most of the free.
Hopefully, next time we see Ryan, that free skate will be better.

Despite the fall on the axel (I think) to begin the free, that was the best free skate I saw and we still have 10 more men to go.
What a performance by Kirk Haugeto (🇺🇲).
Expecting a big leap from him after that performance.

Beautiful free from Vladislav Churakov (🇪🇪).
It was almost perfect except for 2 mistakes, a pop during his combo pass the halfway mark and a messy landing on his final jumping pass.
Was hoping he'd take the lead but not the case.
Those 2 mistakes sadly cost him.

Commentators said he'll be in Batumi next week, so let's hope after this first experience, Aleksandr can get a top 5 or 10 finish.
Predicting in the 2027-28 season, we'll be seeing him on the podium.

Just finished watching Aleksandr Plushenko's (🇦🇿) Free and... 🤯.
Skating to "Star Wars" (something his father I believe never skated to)... off the charts.
