An Najm
- 53rd surah of the Quran.

The star Sirius, verse 49, where it is
given the name الشِّعْرَى (the leader).
The verse is: "وأنَّهُ هُوَ رَبُّ الشِّعْرَى",
“That He is the Lord of Sirius
(the Mighty Star)”.
