Much like backstitching adds definition to cross stitch, a few simple outline stitches make the design pop in #Button making, as well!

Class: child-friendly toy (snails don't have any eyes or wires!)A crochet mushroom sprite with arms and legs in white and a yellow-gold cap with a red first place ribbon. The brown pixie with green leaf cape sitting on a green box behind the mushroom was third and is made by my partner. It is MUCH more technically difficult than my shroom. Class: amigurumi character

Experimenting with yarn wraps in Indian cross stitch pattern (for knitting, not cross stitch) using the yarn I bought last week.

Four wraps seems too long; two makes the fabric too tight. Three seems to be about right!
